The fly-on-the-wall series returns for an 11th run, this time from a new home – Birmingham Women’s Hospital. Samantha and her partner Tony are on the ward.

Sadly, they lost their first baby in late pregnancy, so with baby number two about to be born, they are understandably anxious that everything goes to plan.

Tonight we also meet Rav and partner Sharon, who have had to battle family prejudice as Rav was considered to be from a lower caste according to Indian tradition.

Now, though, with their second child on the way, the family are rallying.

Filmed at one of the busiest maternity units in the UK, this promises to be another heart-warming series.
