In this week’s Paul O’Grady: For the Love of Dogs on ITV, Paul meets some younger dogs at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, including puppy pug Pancake (pictured above), who is full of energy despite having to wear a ‘lampshade’ collar and having problems with his eyesight.
One-year-old Saluki cross Penny should be jumping around but instead she’s got a serious skin condition and an injured leg and looks like her spirit has been broken after being dumped in a ditch.
After two months of medicated baths and a lot of TLC she’s like a different dog – yet another example of the brilliant work done by the shelter.
