Two tiny abandoned kittens are in need of a lot of TLC at Battersea in this week’s Paul O’Grady: For the Love of Dogs on ITV

Proving it’s not just dogs who need help, this week in Paul O’Grady: For the Love of Dogs on ITV, Paul meets two week-old kittens called Thomas and Toby who are in need of round-the-clock care.

The pair (pictured above with Paul) were found crying in a garden and the team at Battersea Cats & Dogs Home are worried Toby might have a neurological condition.

Also this week, there’s a mass rescue from a puppy farm and we meet excitable four-month-old Labradoodle Blondie, who needs to learn to calm down before she can be rehomed (for full listings, see our TV Guide).

Whether you’re a cat or dog person, this episode will have you warming to them all.

‘There will be riots,’ jokes Paul, as he helps out with the kittens’ routine.

‘People will think I’ve gone to the dark side – cats!’

And there’s excitement when one dog ends up being re-homed by Sir Rod Stewart and his wife Penny Lancaster.

‘The dog has got plenty of room to run around in,’ says Paul.

‘I just hope they don’t get too used to the rock ’n’ roll lifestyle!’
