Ross Kemp: Extreme World
Ross Kemp visits Naples, ones of the poorest cities in Europe, to report on the changing face of the Camorra, Italy's biggest and most powerful mafia
Ross Kemp visits Naples, ones of the poorest cities in Europe, to report on the changing face of the Camorra, Italy's biggest and most powerful mafia, now run by numerous younger clans or 'baby bosses'.
He talks to a police commissioner, gang members old and young, and two sisters and their daughters who have links to the old Camorra.
Ross finds that because the baby bosses don't apply rules or logic, there is more gang violence than there used to be.
Chillingly, when a young clan member is asked about the government's attempts to curb the Camorra he replies: 'The state doesn't exist – the state is us'.
