What do you do when your male golden poison frog has lost interest in the female of the species?

That’s the problem they’re facing at Chester Zoo this week. Froggy twosome Pablo and Maria are hopping towards the end of their ‘best before’ date and if the zookeepers don’t hear the pitter patter of tiny tadpoles soon, it’s the end of the line for golden frogs at Chester.

Meanwhile, porcupines Roxie and Henning are showing Pablo and Maria the way – they’ve just had a new baby.
