It's the 1880s and Jackie Chan has some huge adjusting to do as a Chinese Imperial guard who arrives in the Wild West to save Princess Lucy Liu.

Relentlessly cheerful, this light-hearted romp trundles along pleasantly, especially when Chan has a tomahawk-catching run-in with the local Native Americans.

The lackadaisical script is very hit and miss, but Owen Wilson, who plays Chan's new outlaw pal, has a relaxed way with a wisecrack that neatly punctuates Chan's athletic stunts and their sparkling star chemistry makes this a winner.
