Goofy underachiever Jay Baruchel meets the perfect woman in Alice Eve and she likes him, too, but things go awry when he thinks she's out of his league
Goofy underachiever Jay Baruchel meets the perfect woman in Alice Eve and she likes him, too, but things go awry when he thinks she's out of his league.
Though it's no world beater, this is a consistently funny, relaxed and charming film with lots of laughs.
The stars are spot on - amusing, attaractive and appealing - and TJ Miller, Mike Vogel, Nate Torrence and Kyle Bornheimer are perfect as Baruchel's pals.
With its thin story amounting to little more than a single idea, you might say the film seems stretched, but it never seems too long as it trundles merrily along.
Eve's parents are played by her real-life parents, Trevor Eve and Sharon Maughan - and it would have been nice to see more of them.
