With the wedding party traumatised by the shocking death of Mr Wellington, Henry reveals to Abby his fear that JD may be responsible. JD then pleads his innocence to Abby, telling her that Wakefield is alive and back on the island. He then takes her into the woods, where he shows her the body of Uncle Marty. After informing Henry of Marty’s death, Abby, JD and Henry confront the sheriff, who assures them that Wakefield was killed by his own hand. But while the sheriff questions the rest of the wedding party at the Candlewick, Abby and Henry dig up Wakefield's grave and discover a skeleton. The episode ends with a nervous Richard, the sheriff's prime suspect in the murder of Mr Wellington, being shot through the chest with a harpoon. Sploosh!
