The coaches welcome a new face as the latest series kicks off.

A new year means those big red chairs are spinning once more as The Voice UK returns for a seventh series, the second on ITV since the show moved over from the BBC.

And as the blind auditions begin this week, eagle-eyed viewers will notice there’s a new face on the panel of coaches. Alongside Jennifer Hudson, Tom Jones and will.i.am is none other than the cheeky chappie of music, Mr Olly Murs.

And it seems Olly is already proving to be a bit of a ‘Troublemaker’ as he reveals he’s ‘like the naughty school kid on the end!’

Since he’s a transfer from the talent show machine that is The X Factor, we reckon Olly knows what it takes to be the next big thing, so we’ll be watching with interest.
