He also wears X-ray specs in the casino, falls from an exploding balloon onto the Millennium Dome and faces up to Russian terrorist Robert Carlyle, who aims to do something nasty with a nuclear bomb and a submarine.
Brosnan is on top form, Sophie Marceau and Denise Richards are his feisty foils and the non-stop fun includes Russian tycoon Robbie Coltrane, John Cleese as Q's new assistant (this was Desmond Llewelyn's last Bond movie outing) and a truly awful closing pun.
