Struggling soap star Danniella Westbrook is returning to Hollyoaks as Trudy Ryan.
Former EastEnders star Danniella (she played Sam Mitchell) tweeted: “Thank you all for your lovely tweets about @Hollyoaks I’m excited to move back up north and to see what Trudy Ryan does next x #Hollyoaks”
Danniella’s character, Trudy, was a prison buddy of Jacqui McQueen and took a fancy to Trevor Royle (Greg Wood) back in 2013. Trudy exited when she was arrested for human trafficking.
How Trudy returns is still to be revealed by Hollyoaks but we’re pretty sure of one thing: she’ll be trouble.
