Hollyoaksstar Emma Rigby has said that her former screen family the Ashworths "weren't quite ready" to leave the soap. The actress left the role of Hannah Ashworth earlier this year, and the rest of the family - parents Suzanne and Neville and their son Josh - have also been written out. And Emma, who went to a leaving party for cast members Suzanne Hall who plays Suzanne, Jim Millea, who plays Neville and Sonny Flood who plays Josh, said, "I'm sad it's coming to an end. "I think they were quite emotional when they left. I don't think they were quite ready to go. But I suppose they'll all be doing new things." Rhys Ashworth, played by actor Andy Moss, will be the only remaining member of the family in the show when the others leave. They are among several characters being written out under new series producer Paul Marquess, while new arrivals will be brought in to replace them. "I've not watched Hollyoaks for a while because I haven't had time," Emma said, "but I believe there's loads of new people. When I went to the leaving party I didn't recognise anybody."
