Sheridan Smith is reportedly dating a Hollyoaks actor, Greg Wood.

The Cilla star is said to be dating the soap actor, who separated from his wife Catherine three months ago and is a father of three.

According to the Daily Mirror, Sheridan and Greg got together after the split and were seen together at last week's National Television Awards where she won best drama performance, and kissing in a Liverpool restaurant.

Greg, who plays Trevor Royle in the Channel 4 soap, tweeted to confirm that he had broken up with his wife of 10 years a while ago: "I am single, my ex and I separated last summer and are currently going through a divorce."

Sheridan's last relationship was with Amy Winehouse's ex Reg Travis and ended three years ago, but she said recently that she was enjoying work so much that she wasn't too fussed about looking for love.

Last year, she said: "I'm enjoying working so much. People go, 'Why are you single?', but it's because I actually love my job. I'm so grateful to be working. I like to think that, at 31, I've still got time to put things on hold, like a family.

"It's all going so well right now, I don't want to ruin all that. This could all end tomorrow and I always touch wood and wonder how long it's going to last."
