Bad weather has reportedly caused behind-the-scenes panic for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! bosses as storms hit filming for the ITV show’s launch.
Flash flooding triggered a blackout at the jungle camp, delaying filming over the weekend, according to The Sun.
The newspaper reported that Susannah Constantine and Jorgie Porter’s skydive had to be pushed back by four hours thanks to the storms.

Over two inches of rain fell in three hours as the weather in Australia’s Murwillumbah, New South Wales, took a turn for the worse. Winds of up to 80mph made things difficult for the TV crew as they battled the gale.
A source reportedly said: “It was a nightmare. Everyone was scrambling round trying to finish the edit, then the storms hit. The power cut out in the remote camp and they waited ages for it to come back on.

“It was far from ideal as they were already hours behind because of the skydive delays. The forecast isn’t good. The celebs won’t just get soaked, their spirits will be dampened too.”

The launch show included the first Bushtucker Trial, where six celebrities had to take part in the Hell-Evated trial – hanging in cages suspended over a lake, while crickets and cockroaches were dumped on them.
The next trial, Disaster Chef, will see Lady Colin Campbell and Jorgie Porter scoffing bugs.
