Law & Order UK star Bradley Walsh has paid tribute to his new partner, DS Joe Hawkins (Ben Bailey Smith), and the streetwise dynamic he's brought to the ITV series.
Bradley, who plays DS Ronnie Brooks, said: "[Joe's] a little bit more streewise. He's a little bit more... he's from London of origin, so he's lived and breathed the streets. He comes from Child Protection so he's worked with the youth, he knows what's what.
"Jamie Bamber who played Matt Devlin and Paul Nicholls who played Sam Casey were not from London, but whilst they were brilliant in their parts, Ben Bailey Smith as Joe Hawkins brings another dynamic to the show."
