Scott, 38, previously left the show in 2011, a year after joining, but was then brought back in 2013.

The actor's exit comes after he took to Instagram to inform his followers that his wife Bianka Voigt was expecting. He posted a picture of Bianka showing off her baby bump alongside their daughter Evie.

He excitedly wrote, "When 3 became 4!! #No2."

The news follows Heather Schilling and Andrea Somers' exits, with their final scenes being aired last week.

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1:45pm and 5:30pm on Channel 5
