Toadie's wedding goes up in flames (VIDEO)

Neighbours favourite Toadie Rebecchi is in for another disastrous wedding when a gas explosion ruins his big day with fourth wife Sonya Mitchell.

The couple - played by Ryan Moloney and Eve Morey - are set to tie the knot on UK screens next month, but their dreams go up in flames, and Neighbours bosses have confirmed at least two people will die in the explosion.

In a dramatic new trailer for the show, Toadie is seen carrying his bride into a hotel room covered with rose petals, and laying her on a four poster bed, but her face is covered and we cannot see who she is. The hotel room then starts to go up in flames.

Toadie lays six polaroid photos on the table by the bed - one is blank, and the others are of bad guy businessman Paul Robinson, his former mistress Priya Kapoor, Doctor Rhys Lawson and Sonya and Toadie's teenage son Callum Jones.

Ben Barber, who plays Rhys, is known to be leaving the show, and Menik Gooneratne, who plays Priya, recently announced she was expecting her first child, so they could be likely suspects to be killed off in the fire. But it is not known if Sonya survives the explosion, so the blank photo could indicate her.

Toadie has been married three times before. On the day of his first wedding to Dee Bliss, he drove the car off a cliff and she was lost at sea. Then he married old friend Steph Scully, but he left her on their wedding day to go travelling when he realised she didn't love him. Then he remarried Steph, but only as a cover story because she was pregnant with another man's baby, and that marriage was annulled.

His dramatic wedding to Sonya has just screened in Australia and will air in the UK on Channel 5 on April 16.
