This Coronation Street favourite to get SHOCK baby news next week?
Gemma Winter could discover she's pregnant in Corrie - and the rumour is it's quads!
Gemma Winter could be set to discover she’s pregnant in Coronation Street next week!
The big event on the cobbles is baby Bertie’s Christening, but on the day Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) reveals to Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) that she’s feeling too ill and hungover to attend the bash.
Chesney is clearly unimpressed by Gemma’s behaviour, thinking that it’s out of order that she’s missing the celebration because she’s drunk too much.
So, the official show website reports that Gemma “tries to make amends by cooking a fish pie but she falls asleep leaving it to burn”.
Thankfully she doesn’t burn the house down at least! When she wakes up, the Coronation Street official site reveals that Gemma has a chat with Rita, who reckons she might not be hungover at all - instead, Gemma could be pregnant.
It dawns on Gemma that her symptoms could mean something entirely different and that she needs a pregnant test.

Chesney suddenly becomes worried about her as she doesn't seem to be recovering from her "hangover" and says she must go to the medical centre. However, the website adds: “Will she tell him what’s really going on?”
Of course, it’s been widely reported that Gemma will discover that she’s pregnant with quadruplets, so it looks like the shocks will keep coming for the soon to be very cash-strapped couple.
A source told The Sun back in February: “The show’s new boss, Iain MacLeod, is keen to inject a bit of old-fashioned humour into Coronation Street like in the years gone by and this storyline will have viewers in stitches.”
We’re not sure Gemma and Chesney are going to be laughing when they hear they’re going to have four little ones on the way!
Coronation Street continues on ITV.
