Peter Barlow tries it on with Carla, how will she respond? And what about poor Abi!

Peter Barlow will have a crack at kissing his ex wife Carla Connor tonight in Coronation Street.

The pair have been on and off more times than a light switch, and this evening they once again start chatting fondly about old times.

It all starts with Peter finding Abi (played by Sally Carman) working hard on the boat and she soon asks him if there’s still something between him and Carla.

Peter (Chris Gascoyne) then tells Abi a huge fib and says that there’s nothing between him and Carla, before kissing Abi. The love rat later fobs off Abi, before going off in hot pursuit of Carla...

Following her into the factory, the pair reminisce over old times. Moving things on quickly, Peter then tries to plant a kiss on Carla, but will she tell him that ship has sailed?

Has Carla finally had enough of the shameless liar? Or is the factory boss once again going to fall under his spell?

Peter moves in for a snog... but will Carla knock him back tonight?

Alison King, who plays Carla, previously revealed that the pair are basically made for each other. “I think that, essentially, they just love each other. Even when they say they hate each other they actually know that they don’t. They have this chemistry that neither of them can do anything about because they are quite similar.”

Meanwhile also in Coronation Street this evening, Gemma (Dolly Rose-Campbell) accuses Paul of stealing. Later she confides in Chesney (Sam Aston) and Emma that Paul took the blame for some things she did in the past and has never let her forget it. Can Gemma ever escape her past?

Coronation Street is on twice tonight on ITV at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
