Danny Dyer is loving Jodie Whittaker's performances in Doctor Who - might Jodie turn up in EastEnders?!

Danny was chatting after being voted Favourite Soap Star in the annual TV Times awards.

“I’m a bit choked up,” he said. “It’s a bit of a surprise, but a lovely early Christmas present. I’ll put it in my dressing room, so I can look at it every day and be proud.”

While Mick’s facing a bleak Christmas after being banged up after being wrongly accused of shooting his ex-pal Stuart Highway, Danny is looking forward to a happier festive period.
