Britain’s Got Talent judge David Walliams showed good judgment when he leapt to the aid of performer Steve Pemberton, who collapsed on stage in London.
League of Gentlemen and Benidorm star Steve was rushed to Whittington Hospital in north London by David when he was taken ill towards the end of his performance in An Audience with Jimmy Savile.
“There was a bit of a kerfuffle as Steve collapsed just five minutes before the end of the show,” a source told The Sun… And that's is David stepped in and took his friend to the A&E department.
Steve’s agent reportedly told the paper: “Steve is absolutely fine.”
David also tweeted: “I had to take a friend to the Whittington Hospital A&E. Doctors and nurses were excellent. #NHS is something to be very proud of.”
