Eoghan Quigg has hailed Boyzone's Ronan Keating as his role model as he prepares to tour with the band this year. Eoghan, 16, revealed that X Factor judge Louis Walsh offered him the chance to join the Irish five-piece on tour after he performed with them during the live final of the ITV1 show last year. He told whatsontv.co.uk: "I sang with them on [The X Factor] and we did a couple of shows around Ireland and then Louis invited me on tour." The singer, from Dungiven, Northern Ireland, also revealed that the band gave him lots of advice on how to succeed in the music business - particularly Ronan. Eoghan explained: "They said be yourself and keep your feet on the ground. "Ronan's been like a role model to me through the whole experience. We're really good friends." Eoghan will join Boyzone throughout their tour of the UK and Ireland, which kicks off in Belfast on May 24, ending in Cork on June 28. His debut album, Eoghan Quigg, is out now.
