Pia Miller, who played policewoman Kat Chapman in Home and Away, plays the onscreen sister of Eva Longoria in Dora And The Lost City Of Gold.
Ex-Home and Away star Pia Miller, who played policewoman Kat Chapman, has a supporting role in the new live-action film version of Dora The Explorer.
Dora And The Lost City Of Gold, which gets a UK cinema release from tomorrow (Friday 16th August), is based on the hit Nickelodeon animated series about a young girl with a love for adventure who sets off on exciting quests with her monkey pal, Boots.
In the film version, Dora (played by Isabela Moner) is now a teenager who has spent most of her life exploring the jungle with her parents Cole (Michael Pena) and Elena (Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria).
But she's sent to a jungle of a very different kind, when her parents ship her off to high school in Los Angeles!
Former soap star Pia plays Dora's aunt Mami, and mum to Dora's cousin Diego.
But it's not long before Dora, Diego and some of their high school friends must go on an adventure to save her parents and solve the mystery behind a lost Inca civilization.
Dora And The Lost City Of Gold was filmed on the Gold Coast in Australia last year.
Since leaving Home and Away in 2017, when her character Kat was killed-off after a car crash, Pia has also starred alongside another former Summer Bay resident, Todd Lasance (who was troubled Aden Jefferies) in the Aussie TV drama series Bite Club - about a group of shark attack survivors who are targeted by a serial killer!
Dora And The Lost City Of Gold is released in UK cinemas on Friday 16th August
