The first I'm A Celebrity challenges have been revealed - and they're just as terrifying as ever!

The celebrities are already facing their fears

I'm A Celebrity is back on Sunday - which means we get to watch the latest batch of celebrities carry out some of the most gruesome challenges on TV.

And before they've even entered the jungle, ITV bosses are already forcing the stars to face their fears as they've been set their first hair-raising test 334ft off the ground.

Following a luxury meet and greet at a villa with presenters Ant and Dec, the 10 contestants were sent to the roof of a Gold Coast hotel - but things soon turned scary when a handful of them were tasked with 'walking the plank' over a terrifying drop.

Coronation Street's Jennie McAlpine and Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas were chosen to take part in the challenge, and were also joined by boxer Amir Khan, YouTube star Jack Maynard, Made In Chelsea's Georgia Toffolo and singer, Vanessa White.

Meanwhile, retired footballer Dennis Wise and comedian Shappi Khorsandi faced their own scary test as they had to sky-dive out of a plane into the jungle. And if that wasn't bad enough, the stars then had to land in a lake and swim to a beacon to complete the test.

But it was politician Stanley Johnson - Boris Johnson's father - and Rebekah Vardy who got the first taste of real jungle life when they were taken to a mystery wooden shipwreck for the final task.

In true I'm A Celebrity style, the pair had to put their hands in a line of mysterious 'hell holes' to retrieve coloured tokens, but this is a Bushtucker trial, so obviously the holes weren't empty.

While Stanley was faced with crabs and then toads and yabbies, unfortunately Rebekah had to push past rats, spiders, cockroaches and scorpions in a bid to grab the tokens.

Eeek! Make sure you tune into I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! tonight at 9pm on ITV.
