Joey Essex suffers diving injury

Joey Essex has reportedly been banned from exerting himself in the bedroom after suffering a groin injury while rehearsing for new diving show Splash! The reality TV star - who is dating The Only Way Is Essex co-star Sam Faiers - is one of the celebrities taking part in Tom Daley's new ITV show and suffered an injury after doing a belly flop in training. Medics have warned Joey "not to exert himself" in bedroom while he heals, The Sun reported. A source said: "It's put a dampener on his love life." Joey also has an injured elbow which has been strapped up during training for the new high-dive series which starts on ITV1 on Saturday. Other stars taking part include Hollyoaks actress Jennifer Metcalfe, Sugababe Jade Ewen, comedians Dom Joly and Omid Djalili, and model Caprice.
