ITV 2's Love Island returns: Will it be Brits vs Aussies in the villa?

With Love Island Australia being filmed down the road at the same time, will some of the Aussie contestants pop in to shake things up at the British villa?

Could the surprise arrival of some sexy Australians shake things up in the villa when ITV 2's hit reality show, Love Island returns on 4th June?

That's the rumour doing the rounds, since the first-ever series of Love Island Australia is being filmed at another villa nearby in sunny Majorca, Spain.

The contestants on the Aussie version include John James Parton, who was a housemate on Channel 4's Big Brother back in 2010 and dated winner Josie Gibson for a while. But after the couple broke-up, John James moved back to Australia where he has been single for a while, and is now most definitely ready to mingle!

"Meeting someone you have a genuine connection with is something you do struggle with in my industry," says international DJ John James. "All my friends are married, engaged and have kids. I go around to their place for dinner and I am always like the third wheel and cop a lot of s**t for being single!"

John James is obviously already a fan of British women, so it could be fun to see him pop into the British villa and see who he makes a move on. So we'll just have to wait and see if that happens!

Unfortunately, Love Island Australia has yet to screen in the UK. But you can keep up-to-date with all the bickering, bed-hopping and back-stabbing through social media.

Love Island returns on Monday 4 June at 9:00pm on ITV 2
