Coronation Street's Ben Price has revealed that he wants his character's forthcoming marriage to go "disastrously wrong". Restaurateur Nick Tilsley, played by Ben, is set to marry Leanne Barlow (Jane Danson) on Christmas Day but the actor said: "Would I personally like to see a happy ever after for them? No, I wouldn't. There's no karma in that, is there? You want drama!" Ben believes Nick - who has already been married to first love Leanne once before when he was younger, is chasing an ideal: "He loves Leanne but he also wants that perfect picture of family life, that's very important to him." Their relationship, however, is complicated by Leanne's feeling for and history with ex-husband Peter Barlow, played by Chris Gascoyne. Ben loves the difficult nature of their "love triangle". "You don't want it to be simple," he said. "You want there always to be an inner tension, within a family or within a relationship or within a business. Those are the things I like acting. If I had to act always happy and nice it's not so interesting."
