Peter Kay is celebrating some of his finest and funniest moments on the box
Peter Kay is making a return to our screens for a new series of Peter Kay’s Comedy Shuffle, which will be shown on BBC1 later this month.
The hugely popular star is back for a third series of his show, which celebrates some of his finest and funniest work from the last twenty years and more.
Peter Kay’s Comedy Shuffle, which will be shown on Monday 15th October at 9pm, will see hilarious moments from a huge array of his work, including Phoenix Nights, Max and Paddy and Car Share, which bowed out to a huge audience earlier this year.
The first episode of the Peter Kay show will feature musings on garlic bread - "Garlic bread is the future, I've tasted it!" It will also feature Max and Paddy flattening a cow, and a talent night down at the Phoenix Club.
The second series of his Comedy Shuffle went out last summer and included part of his stand-up routine where he imagines telling the hardships of his youth to future generations. “40 years from now... ‘I tell you, you don’t know you were born, all me and your mam had in the evenings was Sky Digital!,” he joked in the routine.
Meanwhile, Peter's hit series Car Share has been nominated for two TV Times Awards. Car Share has been nominated in the Favourite Comedy category and the last-ever episode of Car Share is nominated in the Favourite TV Event of The Year category.
Peter Kay’s Comedy Shuffle is on Monday 15th October at 9pm.
