Come on Rylan, get your skates on!

Rylan Clark-Neal could be getting his skates on for the next series of Dancing on Ice – if the show’s host Phillip Schofield gets his way!

Phillip, 56, revealed to us that he’s been hounding the TV personality to take part in the next series of the ITV hit, which returned to our screens earlier this year.

Speaking to us, Phillip, who recently returned with his ITV show Five Gold Rings, said: "We all began pitching our ideas a couple of months ago [for the new series of Dancing on Ice]. I have hounded Rylan to take part.

"He’s a really good skater and he’s such a great guy. He’d be about 20 foot tall but he’d be brilliant and so funny but he won’t do it, he says, ‘It’s too ‘ard…I’ll hurt myself’. I keep pestering him."

Jake was crowned the 2018 Dancing on Ice champion - could Rylan win the 2019 show?

Fans had hoped to see Rylan, 29, on the ice for last series, but he later revealed that filming clashes meant it wasn’t possible.

However, with some persuasion from Phillip, it looks like Rylan might well be on the 2019 series of the ITV hit. Watch this space!
