Announcing the pregnancy, Ore wrote: "Not sure what I did to deserve this one. Can't hide our excitement anymore 👶🏽 Starting a family has always been our dream. And no prizes for guessing.. THERE. WILL. BE. TEARS!!!! 😭😭😭 #babynews#pregnancyannouncement #tinydancer"

Ore rose to fame last year after becoming 2016's Strictly Come Dancing champion. The BBC Sports presenter stole the show during the final against fellow contestants Louise Redknapp and Danny Mac.

During the course of the competition Ore became known for his tendency to cry, and after the show drew to a close he admitted he was suffering from withdrawal symptoms from the gruelling dance training.

Ore and Portia tied the knot in 2015 after reportedly meeting at Loughborough University.

Portia works as a TV researcher and was a regular fixture on the sidelines while Ore strutted his stuff on the dance floor with partner Joanne Clifton.
