Strictly Come Dancing's Iveta Lukosiute has said she and her celebrity partner Thom Evans are just 'very good friends' - although she didn't entirely rule out the possibility of a romance in the future.

The pair have been romantically linked since they were teamed up on the show, but professional dancer Iveta told the Daily Mirror that right now things are platonic, although she admitted she will 'never say never'.

She said: "Do I think he is a good-looking guy? Yes I do, he's gorgeous.

"I like his work ethic, I like how dedicated he is. I like his humour, he is quite funny, he dances and sings.

"Will romance happen? I am one of those people who never says never, although at the moment we are focusing on the dancing."

Iveta said she and the former rugby international are focusing on their prowess on the dancefloor.

"We are just dancing and are very good friends," she said.

"There are always rumours. I think because we are both young single people, we spend so much time together that people talk about us getting together."
