Tamera Foster sees hypnotist to overcome song slip-ups

X Factor finalist Tamera Foster is reportedly taking drastic measures in a bid to stop forgetting her lyrics mid-performance.

According to The Sun Simon Cowell has drafted in a hypnotist to enable the 16-year-old to relax more and conquer her nerves.

The teenager confirmed the news, saying: "Last week was really difficult, so I've been seeing a hypnotherapist to get me in the right frame of mind."

An insider added: "As far as Simon is concerned Tamera is the star and she can have whatever special treatment she needs.

"He hates the fact she's been forgetting her lines as it's just so unprofessional."

Viewers have seen the singer fluff her lyrics three times so far this series.

As well as a dramatic moment during the Wembley auditions which saw her run off stage in tears, she also forgot the words to Diamonds Are Forever during one live show and slipped up again last weekend while singing James Arthur's hit Impossible.

Gary Barlow called her performance 'excruciating', while Louis Walsh complained it was 'frustrating' to see her forget her lyrics yet again.

Despite avoiding the bottom two last Sunday she is the bookies' favourite to leave this weekend.

The X Factor kicks off on Saturday night on ITV at 8pm.
