Desperate Housewives' Teri Hatcher turns villainess in Sky 1's Supergirl!
Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher is returning to telly screens with a villainous new role in Sky 1's Supergirl
Hands-up if you remember the 90s TV series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures Of Superman starring Dean Cain as Clark Kent/Superman and Teri Hatcher as love interest Lois Lane?
The pair are soon to be reunited on Supergirl. Sort of. Dean Cain already has a recurring role on the super hero series as Kara and Alex's dad, Jeremiah Danvers. And Teri Hatcher, last seen as unlucky-in-love neighbour Susan on Desperate Housewives, is set to guest-star in some upcoming episodes!
Details of Teri's guest-role are being kept top-secret. Even more secret than the goings-on at the Department Of Extra-Normal Operations! So we have no idea if Dean and Teri will have any scenes together. However, we do know Teri won't be playing Lois Lane again as this time she is playing a villain, who comes to National City and causes all kinds of trouble for Supergirl.
"What's so amazing is she's not playing Lois and she is not playing any kind of character I've ever seen her play before," says Supergirl executive producer Andrew Kreisberg. "She's not Susan from Desperate Housewives and she's really playing something completely different and she's doing it amazingly."
You can see Teri's first appearance in Supergirl on Sky 1 this Spring.
