THIS familiar face is heading back to Coronation Street to cause a stir for former love interest
There's a blast from the past heading for one Coronation Street character, but who is about to have their life turned upside down?
Coronation Street actress Stirling Gallacher, better known to soap fans as Sally Metcalfe's solicitor Paula Martin, has revealed she is making a comeback to the cobbles.
The star shared a video on Twitter of her alongside fellow Coronation Street cast member and on-screen love interest Brooke Vincent - meaning it won't be long before she is back on our screens.
Stirling added the short video of the pair behind the scenes at the soap, telling her followers: "I have had the absolute and total pleasure of goofing about with this dreamboat all day".
And fans were thrilled to see Stirling's post, commenting that they hoped it means a reunion for the former on-screen couple, who they affectionately nicknamed 'Saula', could be on the cards.
One fan replied: "The pair of you are amazing and us fans so want Saula back together."
Another added: "Saula! Love it. Missed you both!" while someone else wrote: "Oh wow, you two are a match made in soap land and are an absolute pleasure to watch!".

Coronation Street fans will remember that Stirling played Sophie's love interest after they met while her character, Paula, helped fight Sally's case when she was wrongly imprisoned for fraud.
Paula and Sally's daughter Sophie couldn't help but fall for each other, but with Sally in jail, it seemed it wasn't quite the right time for them to make their romance work.
But that could all be set to change now that Sally is free and back in Weatherfield, and Paula is apparently heading back to the cobbles.
Paula hasn't been seen on screen since January when Sally was released from jail, so what could bring her back to Coronation Street after a few months away?
Is she back purely to see Sophie? Or is there another reason she is set to make a comeback?
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
