Best TV shows on TV tonight
Gogglebox: 10 Year Anniversary Special, 9pm, Channel 4
Celebrating 10 years of Gogglebox, tonight’s 90-minute special features memorable moments from the armchair critics who have appeared on the show. There are old faces such as boozy Kent couple Steph and Dom and Liverpool pensioners June and Leon (who have both died in recent years, sadly) as well as current favourites including Blackpool siblings Pete and Sophie.
This one-off also serves as a reminder of all the TV we have watched in the past decade which has seen us survive lockdowns, quite a few Prime Ministers and Ed Balls dancing Gangnam Style on Strictly! This nostalgic collection of best bits is just as entertaining as the series itself, which continues on C4 (Friday, 9pm).

TV’s household names are queueing up to prank or be pranked by the Geordie pair, it seems. Claudia Winkleman faces potential humiliation in the first I’m a Celebrity Get Out of Me Ear of the series, the unpredictable Daisy May Cooper is the guest announcer and the End of the Show Show is a family singlaong with the Frozen: The Musical cast.

Casualty, 8:45 pm, BBC One
It’s Robyn’s (Amanda Henderson) last shift and, after 10 years, she’s excited to start a new chapter in Wigan. Each to their own. However, Holby is not ready to let her go… There’s a serious incident and Jacob begs her to stay. Robyn immediately regrets agreeing to work a few extra hours as the wards fill up, Jacob loses control (of the ED and his temper), and her leaving do is cancelled. With nothing to lose, Robyn gives Jacob a furious dressing-down, takes her cake and storms off. Now, that’s an exit. But is it the last we see of her?

Dusty Springfield Night, from 8:45pm, BBC Two

Best box set on TV tonight
Daisy Jones & The Six, Prime Video
Daisy and The Six frontman Billy Dunne (Sam Claflin), have a complex relationship with fame and drugs, as well as trying to resist their growing and undeniable connection to each other.
The book is told in a clever documentary style, switching back and forward in time with the band members (in the present) giving first-person accounts of their perspectives on the story of the band's rise and fall. Band members Graham (Will Harrison), Eddie (Josh Whitehouse), Karen (Suki Waterhouse) and Warren (Sebastian Chacon) discuss their time in the band and reveal what happened away from the ever-present cameras. The first three episodes are available now, and the rest of the season will drop on Fridays over the coming weeks.
