X Factor reject Laura White has claimed she will be going back onto the show. The singer, from Bolton, apparently hinted of a return to ITV1 talent show to some fans she met in Central London, according to reports in The Sun. When the group said she should not have been voted off last Saturday, Laura replied: "Don't worry - I'm going back on the show." More than 35,000 angry viewers have signed an online petition demanding their favourite be reinstated on the show. And Laura's comments suggest that bosses may have been forced to bow to the pressure. Laura, who had been the favourite to win The X Factor, was eliminated on Saturday night after ending up in the bottom two with Ruth Lorenzo, with three of the judges opting to save Ruth. Laura revealed after that her mentor Cheryl Cole believed that fans hadn't voted because they assumed she would be safe. She said: "Cheryl thinks everyone thought they just didn't need to pick up the phone." Meanwhile, it looks like Diana Vickers' X Factor dream could be over as she struggles to recover from laryngitis. Quirky Diana, of Blackburn, was forced to pull out of last Saturday's show - but she was still too ill to sing on Wednesday and went home to be with mum Ann. X Factor choreographer Brian Friedman said: "Di still couldn't sing [Wednesday]. She just had no voice at all."
