Alesha Dixon 'yet to sign' new BGT contract

Alesha Dixon has revealed that while she is keen to return to Britain's Got Talent in 2014 she has yet to sign a contract.

The singer - who is currently presenting ITV's Your Face Sounds Familiar - assured her fans she would be back, but admitted that no details for the next series had been finalised.

"They do yearly contracts," the singer told the Mail.

"But if they want me back I will definitely be in. I'd be silly not to because it's such a fantastic show."

She added: "The standard this year was so much higher than I expected and there was a lovely feel on the panel too. Last year David Walliams and I were the newbies. This year everything was very settled."

This year's series of Britain's Got Talent was won by Hungarian shadow theatre troupe Attraction, who will perform for the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance later this year.

Simon Cowell hinted after the final that he, David, Alesha and Amanda Holden would all be on board for the next series.

Alesha is currently expecting her first child with boyfriend Azuka Ononye.
