David Walliams has dressed as Simon Cowell for the launch of the 10th series of Britain’s Got Talent.
He arrived on the red carpet at the event held in central London sporting Cowell’s trademark sunglasses, black trousers pulled up high and a white shirt with a bit of chest exposed.

The popular ITV talent show returns this weekend with judges Cowell, Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden.

Simon did not attend the launch as he is in Los Angeles filming the American version of the talent show.
Judge Amanda said she believes a magician will win the show this year.
She said: “We must have seen about 50, which is incredible and bring it on.”
The actress and singer also spoke about rival talent show The X Factor, saying she hoped Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne would return to the judging panel.

The X Factor has a few openings on the panel following the news that Radio 1′s Nick Grimshaw and singer Cheryl Fernandez-Versini would not be returning as judges.
“I think Simon and Cheryl are really good friends,” she said. “This would have been discussed way before it was announced. And I’m sure Simon has a plan. I hope that plan includes Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne if I’m honest.”

Alesha admitted that there “was a time” when she had thought about being a judge on The X Factor.

She told the Press Association: “Singing is where I come from, it’s what I do and I loved the idea of mentoring, but I have to say I’m so happy where I am. Britain’s Got Talent suits my personality better, so I am genuinely happy where I am.”
Britain’s Got More Talent host Stephen Mulhern said there had been a lot more disagreements between the judges this year.
He was adamant that Cowell and Walliams’ 'bromance is still there, which is a good thing', but added: “There are a lot more disagreements this year.”
He said he predicted that one of the Golden Buzzer acts would be the outright winner.
The Golden Buzzer was introduced in 2014 to allow each judge to send one act straight through to the live semi-finals.
The host of the sister show said if he had a buzzer he would not choose a singer.
He said: “I prefer more variety, singers are great and welcome on the show, but magicians and comedy are what I love.”
The first episode is set to battle it out against the finale of BBC rival The Voice UK this weekend.
