Celebrity Big Brother: Evander Holyfield is first to leave

Evander Holyfield has become the first housemate to be evicted from Celebrity Big Brother 2014 after his fate was decided by Lee Ryan and Casey Batchelor in a dramatic twist.

The former World Heavyweight champion lost out after the pair - who have been secretly living in the Big Brother 'bolthole' since their apparent eviction on Wednesday night - chose him to leave over fellow nominee Luisa Zissman.

The pair had been up against Jasmine Waltz, Liz Jones and Jim Davidson in the eviction votem but were left to battle it out after that trio were saved earlier on Friday's show.

Prior to the eviction though Lee and Casey's hiding place was revealed - and they were told by Big Brother that they had to choose which of the remaining two to evict.

The Blue singer admitted he 'felt bad' about his decision, but said: "The public are gonna hate us but Luisa's my friend."

Evander subsequently left the house to a largely positive response from the crowd - and later confessed he had been surprised to be voted out first.

"I thought I'd be second, I guess the other one was just a game," the boxer said.

"Coming into this it's a matter of votes. Of course I thought I would be loved here. I got a few votes, but not enough."

However he said he had no hard feelings towards his fellow housemates.

"They said Luisa was their friend and that’s what happened, I’m not mad," he explained. "I’m sure they did what they wanted to do and it’s okay."
