Coronation Street's Maria and Aidan are set to cheat on their partners, Luke and Eva, as a kiss leads to them going to bed together
Here are the first pictures of Maria (Samia Ghadie) and Aidan’s (Shayne Ward) one-night stand, which starts with a kiss on Maria’s sofa.
The scenes - set to air on August 12 – will take many fans by surprise, as Maria is living with fiancé Luke and Aidan has been keeping Eva (Catherine Tyldesley) company in bed for a few months now.
What are they thinking?
Maria’s morning-after reaction is to dump Luke.
But that panics Aidan. Is she going to tell Eva?
Corrie boss Kate Oates recently revealed a bit of what is to come for these two love cheats.
“No soap is complete without a good love triangle! We have got Aidan, who has had this one-night stand with Maria, and he’s regretted it.
“Maria hasn’t quite so much, though, which is quite inconvenient for Luke!
“She breaks it off with him and it terrifies Aidan. He’s worried she might want him.
"He's heard rumours about when she lost the plot, so he starts to think, 'have I just slept with a crazy lady?'. "
We can also reveal, though, that Maria might not be the “crazy” lady that Aidan has to worry about…
