Corrie star Krissi hurt playing netball with co-stars

Coronation Street star Krissi Bohn has injured her leg playing netball with her co-stars.

The actress, who plays former physiotherapist Jenna Kamara, is in need of some treatment herself after ripping her Achilles tendon.

Krissi, who was training for a charity match against the Emmerdale cast, revealed on Twitter she is set to have surgery this week, and will then be in plaster and on crutches for six weeks.

Coronation Street producers are being forced to rewrite scenes so Krissi, whose character Jenna is in a relationship with Brooke Vincent's character Sophie Webster, can film sitting down.

She tweeted: "Still filming just standing or sitting at the moment... it's up to the big bosses. I can still film scenes as long as I'm not walking around.

"I'm fine. I don't mind the pain it's the inconvenience that gets me more than anything!!"
