Coronation Street's Liam Connor wants Leanne - the trouble is he has no idea that her treats come at a price! Actor Rob James-Collier explains... What does Liam see in Leanne? "Liam is used to women throwing themselves at him – like Kelly and Joanne did. But Leanne's not like that and he likes it! She hasn't fallen for his patter and she gives as good as she gets. She's a challenge and that really does it for Liam." Leanne's certainly a feisty lady. Is Liam confident he can win her over? "She’s managed to do something to him that the likes of Joanne and Kelly haven't. He has to pull out all the stops because she doesn't fall for the usual rubbish he spouts at women. Plus, with Leanne, he's not worried that she might only be interested in him for the money and power as she already has enough of both." How exactly does Liam think that Leanne has accumulated all this money? “He believes her story about investing in overseas property. He’s got no idea that she’s a prostitute. Why would he?” Can we take it as read then that Liam won't be overjoyed if he finds out? “No bloke would be would they? I think it would change everything. Liam is not the sort of man who could bear the humiliation of dating a girl who did that for a living.” Casual affairs seem to be Liam's cup of tea. So what's he after with Leanne – more of the same or something more? “He fancies her without a doubt and would like to get her into bed. But I think she has the potential to make him want more. I reckon she could be the one to get to him.” Hasn't Liam heard about her reputation? “He knows she was involved with Danny but he doesn't know all the details. But I don’t think it would matter to him if he did. In a way it would give him a thrill, make the challenge even more exciting. Liam was always trying to outdo Danny so he'd probably see getting Leanne as getting one over on him." But he'll be getting into one heck of a lot of trouble... “I know! Personally I'd take her past as a signal to run a mile but Liam doesn’t. He's got a self-confidence bordering on arrogance and assumes things will be different with him.”
