Coronation Street's Kate Connor (Faye Brooks) has been telling people how much she's been missing her soldier fiancee, Caz (Rhea Bailey), for weeks now.
After arriving in Weatherfield with her dad, Johnny (Richard Hawley), and being reunited with brother Aidan (Shayne Ward) and cousin Carla (Alison King) at the Underworld factory, Kate's made herself at home in the Street. The only thing that's been missing is her other half.
It's Kate's birthday and she gets just what she's been dreaming of for weeks…
It's the day of Kate's birthday and, unbeknown to her, Aidan and Carla have secretly arranged for Caz to pay a visit.
Kate's shocked and over the moon to see Caz when her taxi pulls up outside the factory.
As the girls enjoy the moment, Kate tells Caz she's the best birthday present she could have wished for.
Later, at a family gathering for Kate's birthday in the Bistro, the girls are having a great time.
