Coronation Street star Kym Ryder has a lot to be happy about. Not only is she having the time of her life in Weatherfield, she's also up for the Sexiest Female at the British Soap Awards. But Kym, who plays feisty barmaid Michelle Connor in the soap, is not taking the nomination too seriously, it seems. "I was laughing when I saw my name on the list. I thought 'If I win sexiest female, I'll eat my own shoes!" she told the Sun. "Samia Smith and Alison King who are the other two Corrie nominations are both better looking than me." And the 30-year-old added: "It's nice to get nominated in that category but I would definitely rather win for best actress." Meanwhile, the actress said she's enjoying her dramatic storylines after her character Michelle discovered her boyfriend Sonny's gay fling with Sean. "It would be nice if she could fall in love again," she said. "There's always a chance that she will rekindle her feelings for Steve MacDonald as there's definitely a spark between them."
