Maria Connor's arrested on suspicion of murder!

With Johnny having found the scissors and handed them over to the police, Maria is soon arrested

After Johnny finds Maria's bloodied scissors, it looks like the troubled hairdresser could be facing a long prison sentence in Corrie!

Since rebuffing Caz's advances, Maria's life has turned into a living nightmare in Corrie, leaving the poor hairdresser a nervous wreck.

When she opened her hairdressing bag and found her scissors covered in blood, it was clear someone was out to frame her for Caz's murder – only Caz is still very much alive.

Eager to help out a panicked Maria, Aidan quickly got rid of the scissors. Or so he thought...

Maria's world falls apart as she is arrested in front of a shocked Kirk and Aidan

The police come calling shortly after Jenny and Johnny decide to do some rooting around in the bins at Underworld

Of course, the factory bins are where Aidan disposed of Maria's bloodied scissors!
