It's a momentous week for the Platts in Coronation Street

During a massive week for the Platt family, Gail, Bethany, David and Kylie make big decisions that will affect all of their lives in Coronation Street

It's an eventful week for the Platts, with Gail finding renewed romance with her estranged husband, Michael Rodwell, and Kylie discovering the extent to which Bethany is being bullied by the girls at her school in Coronation Street.

The biggest moment, though, comes when Kylie – who's consumed with guilt in the aftermath of her killing evil drug dealer Callum Logan – makes a decision about her future with husband David. Will it see Kylie and David leave the Street for a new life?

Kylie decides she can't go on living with the shadow of Callum's death hanging over her… Will David agree to leave the Street with her to start a new life?

Earlier, Kylie wants to see Gail reunited with her estranged husband so she breaks a door handle at No.8 and calls Michael to come and fix it.

Bethany's surprised to see her grandma and Michael getting on so well together.

Having eavesdropped in the background with Kylie, David offers some encouragement to his mum and Michael.

Gail and Michael finally admit they've missed each other and kiss.

Later, after picking up Bethany’s phone, Kylie is horrified to read all the bullying texts from Lauren and her mates.

Bethany breaks down and admits how she wanted to confide in her mum, Sarah, but she’s too ill. Kylie’s consumed with guilt, knowing her sister-in-law's breakdown is a direct result of Callum's death.

With school closed for the day, and after agreeing to look after Dev Allahan's children, Asha and Aadi, Kylie discovers they've locked her son, Max, in the annexe at No.8.

Kylie releases a freaked-out Max and flies at Asha, furious with her for traumatising her son.

Kylie's furious because she thinks she'll never be able to escape the horror of Callum's death while she's living in the Street.

Kylie tells David her fears, hoping she can convince him they can make a fresh start in Barbados, where her sister, Becky Granger, now lives.

Kylie's over the moon when David agrees and tells her he's put the wheels in motion to formally adopt Max.

Kylie and David reveal their plans to Gail, Bethany and Max… But will their happiness be short-lived? Watch Coronation Street on ITV from Monday, 11 July.
