Just when it looked as though Kylie and David Platt would be putting the past – and Callum Logan's death – behind them as they planned to head off for a happy new life with their kids in Barbados, tragedy struck and the love of David's life was suddenly snatched away from him. Now it rests on grief-stricken David's shoulders to care for Max and Lily, and he's determined to stay strong for them.

This week, however, David desperately wants to point the finger of blame at someone and the bad-lad David Platt of old rears his head when, like a man possessed, he turns vigilante to seek justice for his dead wife.

Heartbroken David visits Kylie in the chapel of rest to tell her how much he loves her and misses her.

Earlier, David goes with niece Bethany to visit her mum, Sarah, in hospital and break the tragic news of Kylie's death.

Sarah's stunned and becomes jittery, convinced that dead Callum is in some way connected to Kylie's untimely demise.

Later, in the chapel of rest, David shares his thoughts and feelings with Kylie. Will he snap under the stress? And who will he blame for Kylie's death? Watch Coronation Street on ITV from Monday, 18 July.
