Adele Silva has hinted she would love a role in EastEnders. The actress, best known for playing catty Kelly Windsor in Emmerdale, told the Sun that she would like to return to the world of soaps and appear in the BBC show. She first played Beth Bains, the daughter of Ian Beale's older girlfriend Ronnie Bains (Lesley Nightingale) in EastEnders, back in 1992, before she moved to the Dales. Adele, who has finished filming comedy horror film Strippers Vs Werewolves with Ali Bastian and Robert Englund and will appear in comedy How To Stop Being A Loser alongside Richard E Grant and Sheridan Smith later this year, admitted that people often mistake her to be as nasty as Kelly. "Yes! According to research by Daz, 95 per cent of Brits watch up to five different soaps, so a lot of people do know about Kelly's antics," she told New! "People are often surprised to see I've got teeth, because Kelly never smiles - she only scowls. But it's nice when people go, 'Ooh, you're actually really friendly'," she added.
