They constantly fight on screen, but off it seems the actors who play Roxy and Ronnie Mitchell in EastEnders are best friends. Rita Simons, who plays Roxy, told whatsontv.co.uk at the British Soap Awards: "I love it - I love her. Sam is actually my best friend in that studio. I don't know what I'd do without her. "She's looked out for me, she's held my hand every step of the way - she's been brilliant." Rita said her first year in EastEnders has been a whirlwind, but 'she wouldn't change it for the world'.
