EastEnders' Terry Alderton kisses and makes up with Danny Dyer: 'I was too quick to judge him'

EastEnders actor and comedian Terry Alderton has said he was 'too quick' to judge his co-star Danny Dyer.

The pair fell out several years ago after a row at a music festival and comedian Terry created videos sending up Danny's TV shows and calling him a 'wally'.

Terry told The Sun he couldn't believe it when he found out Danny, who he'd nicknamed Danny Dire, was going to join EastEnders as the Queen Vic landlord.

The actor, who plays cabbie Terry Spraggan, said: "I first found out Danny was coming into the show when my mum texted me. I thought 'you're joking!'

"To cut a long story short, I saw him sitting in costume. I said 'I think we'd better get this over with now!'

"He was going 'Nah, nah, it's not a problem geezer'. I said, 'Ok geezer, fine'."

Terry added: "That episode taught me a lot about myself as a person.

"Danny is a very sweet man... the moral of the story is we had a falling out and I was too quick to judge him on the stereotype of what he was."
